Jonathan Abarbanel

Jonathan Abarbanel is theater editor for the weekly Windy City Times newspaper, senior writer for Chicago Footlights magazine, and a featured columnist for PerformInk. His own plays, libretti, lyrics and revue sketches have been performed in Chicago, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, the Westside Theatre (Off-Broadway), London's Royal Festival Hall, and broadcast on WFMT.
Jonathan is a long-time member of the American Theatre Critics Association and has represented the United States at two World Congresses of the International Association of Theatre Critics, a UNESCO-affiliated organization. He has received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Friends of Literature, the Illinois Theatre Association and the Prix Italia for radio production.
