Chicago Public Radio is pleased to present the 2007 finalists from the nationally-renowned teen poetry slam, Louder Than A Bomb. This friendly competition gathers the best and brightest young writers (age 13-19) from thoughtout the Chicago area with the winners going on to represent Chicago at the national level. The four teams that were invited to the final round were recorded at our studios.

Special Broadcast - July 4th & 22nd: Join hip-hop poets Kevin Coval and Idris Goodwin as they present a selection of the best pieces performed as part of the 2007 Louder Than a Bomb Teen Poetry Festival. Hear the winning piece performed by Steinmetz Academic Centre, recorded live at the final round of competition, along with over a dozen other individual and group pieces recorded both live and in-studio at Chicago Public Radio.
