Louder Than a Bomb - 2008
Presented annually by
Young Chicago Authors
, Chicago Public Radio was honored to host all six indy Finalists at our studios, along with teams WordPlay, Northside College Prep, Kuumba Lynx and Chicago 7. We hope you enjoy listening to, and downloading, the work of these talented poets! Congratulations to all 400+ young writers who participated in this year's competition.
Special Broadcast - July 4 and 20:
Kevin Coval hosts this special radio broadcast of 2008's Louder Than A Bomb teen poetry festival. In addition to festival highlights, Kevin sat down with poet Nate Marshall, and coaches Joe Cytrynbaum, Jacinda Bullie and Jaquanda Villegas to let them each weigh in on what Louder Than a Bomb has created and why they have participated throughout the Festival's history.
