From the 2004 live Stories on Stage event, Twisted Hearts, directed by Judy O'Malley, we revisit three stories about love's darker side.

In the first story, "The Impressionist," by Heidi Jon Schmidt, we peer into the heart of a married painter longing for contact. Maggie Carney Reads.

"Blood," by Sharon Solwitz, our second story, depicts the rapturous imaginings of a single woman. Marti Sanders reads.

The final story, "The Model," by Guy de Maupassant, digs beneath the surface of a tragic affair. Sean Fortunato reads.
