We’ll now go to Changwon, South Korea for another perspective on the DMZ.

James Card is an independent journalist living in Changwon, South Korea.

He has visited the DMZ four times.  His most recent trip was to the alpine wetlands area in the DMZ.

Worldview Producer Nissa Thompson asked James whether it was fair to call the Korean DMZ an “untouched paradise.”

Wow, thank you for this very candid and informative interview from the unique perspective of an American journalist living and working in Korea. Great insights way beyond the Hollywood "shoot em up, axis of evil" crap that we're normally exposed to. It really brings the evils of war, and its real ramifications on nature and wildlife, and ultimately, us humans, to a level that we can all relate to. Great interview.

Matthew Awalt, ?? Jinju City, S. Korea // Wednesday, May 07, 2008 @ 12:13

James' interview was on par with the issues inside the Koreas that we rarely hear voiced with such clairvoyance.
