How To Be A Paletero In Chicago

It’s that season when the bells from ice-cream carts can be heard across the city, from Chicago sidewalks to parks and beaches. It’s also the time of year when we get asked about Mexican popsicles, also known as paletas in Spanish, and the paleteros who sell them.

This week on Curious City, we're revisiting a story from 2017 about what it takes to be a paletero in Chicago.
