Illinois rebrands invasive Asian carp as ‘Copi’

Unlike the bottom-feeding common carp, the invasive Asian carp species make a light, healthy meal. That’s according to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, which unveiled its rebranding campaign and new name for the invasive species Wednesday.

Reset gets the latest on the state’s efforts to get more people to “choose Copi.”
