Chicago could see its first tiny homes

The winning design of a 2016 conference on tiny homes by Pride Action Tank, held at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. In her budget address last week, Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced she’s setting aside $3 million for the construction of tiny homes. Tiny homes still need to be legalized, but they would be built in communities on city-owned property.
