Illinois awards $20 million in security grants to potential targets of attacks

The governor says the funds will provide groups with the resources they need to boost security measures amid the “rising tide of extremism.”

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program is giving $20 million to 116 groups to protect against public safety and security threats.

Reset hears from a few recipients about how they plan to spend those funds.
