More votes counted, Cook County state’s attorney race narrows

More votes continue to be counted in outstanding primary races. The Chicago City Council held the first hearing on Mayor Brandon Johnson’s proposed plan to borrow more than a billion dollars for housing and development projects. Additionally, the mayor’s office announced today that migrants being housed at five Parks Department facilities will be moved, and the sites will reopen to the public.
