O’Hare’s Terminal 3 is getting a $200 million upgrade

However, the construction of two satellite concourses that would increase gate capacity is being put on hold.

Passengers traveling through Terminal 3 will soon see wider concourses, renovated restrooms, revamped baggage claim area and more. However, budget concerns have halted the construction of a global terminal and satellite concourses, leading Mayor Johnson to propose a major change in the order of construction.
