Two people were injured Saturday at 31st Street Beach after an argument left a 17-year-old girl shot in the shoulder and another person with a stab-wound to the arm. Four people have been shot at the South Side beach in less than a month. In response to the violence, Fourth Ward Alderman Lamont Robinson has implemented several measures to tighten security - and is calling on the Park District to enforce a 9 p.m. curfew at the beach.
